Days of Architecture Sarajevo, supported by British Concil through their Architecture Design and Fashion biennales and festivals fund, invite architecture and design students from the Former Yugoslavia region to apply for the upcoming workshop ‘Sarajevo and the Siege: Between occupation and freedom’, which will be led by award winning studios ScanLAB Projects (UK) and Project V Architecture (UK/BiH). The three day student workshop will be held in Sarajevo between 22nd May - 24th May 2018 and presented at Days of Architecture 2018. The workshop will give students a unique opportunity to carry out architectural investigations of historically important sites in Sarajevo using 3D Scanning technologies, which they will use to make short architectural films over the course of the three days.

The Cycling Cities workshop is a four days workshop held between 21st May - 25th May 2018. on the perception of the city from a point of view of a cyclist. Under the guidance of internationally awarded architect and filmmaker Jord den Hollander , participants are requested to make a 3 minutes film about their personal experiences on cycling in the city they live in. Apart from getting another view on the built environment the course is an introduction to storytelling and filmmaking. In 2018 new cities will be involved in the project, and one of them is Sarajevo.
